1.) Signed peyton manning - clearly best move of the offseason. (I will miss you tebow, it was fun.)
2.) Signed Andrew Caldwell, Jason Hill, Brandon Stokley, and and Jacob Tamme. Should be a solid group to pair with D. Thomas and E. Decker. Remember Peyton is going to make them all a little better. I really like our recievers. We have legit starters. We have depth. I think this is a huge strength for this years season.
3.) Drafted Ronnie Hillman in the third round. We needed youth at the RB position. He should catch a lot of balls for peyton and hopefully he can run the draw play peyton used to call for his RB's in Indy. Willis should start again, but he clearly wore down last season. He is still a playmaker when healthy though. Lastly lance ball continues to be a good 3rd option. Lastly Knowshon Moreno, this is probably his last season to show any worth in the nfl. I feel as though Denver is going to take a step back or two in the rushing department. This has a lot to do with the switch for Tebow to Peyton. With that being said, I do feel like we have enough to compliment our pass attack.
4.) Offensive Line- I don't know if I should be optimistic about this group or the opposite. They play mediocre to me. The cup is half empty and half full. Phillip Blake of the 4th round might be a starting center sooner rather than later.

Defense

1.) Defense Tackle - OUR KRYPTONITE - Chris Wolfe and Ty Warren are slated to be opening day starters. Drafting back to grab Chris Wolfe is questionable but they say the guy has a huge motor. I know we are all hoping this pick pans out.
2.) I don't really have any concers at linebacker of defensive end. We get tons of pressure on the Quarterback.
3.) Cornerback - Signing Tracey Porter, Drayton Florence, and drafting Omar Bolden should totally revamp our cornerback position. If Omar comes back healthy he was a total steal and will be a cog in our defense for years to come. Getting 3 quality cornerbacks in one offseason is a lot and I know I am thankful for the influx of talent there.
4.) Safety - Mike Adams should start. Nice pick up, cause what we had there before was not working.

GM - As we all know by now Brian Xanders has left the team, most likely cause he never got full control on personal decisions. With or without him Fox and Elway have been making great additions so far. What I like is they made moves before the draft, during the draft, and after the draft. They are constantly trying to upgrade this team. The ONLY questionable move was drafting Brock Osweiler. I think we all wanted a 2nd defensive tackle or a different running back drafted. They took a QB. Now the part I didn't like was that this pick does nothing for us if we are making a Superbowl run this year. I was all about drafting 7 guys who might help us this year. Drafting him shows me one thing though. Elway wants to have quality Quarterbacks in Denver for the rest of time there. He also want to get away from running quarterbacks. Big, tall Quarterbacks with cannon arms. It stinks for this season, but in hindsight when peyton gets hurt or just plain old finishes his career it might look like the smartest pick of this draft. ( If the kid is any good.)

Normally I do not look at the schedule but our schedule is brutal. I heard it is one of the hardest schedules of all-time. Our division games are our easiest games. I know the afc west is called a joke of a division by some but it really is not that bad. KC is good when jamaal charles is healthy. Nobody wanted to play Oakland last year when McFadden was getting 150 yards a week. Lastly Phillip Rivers had an off year last year but he usually is a pro-bowl level quarterback. Non division games who made the playoffs last year include Pittsburg, Atlanta, Houston, New England, New Orleans, Cincy, and Baltimore. The remaining teams are Cleveland, Tampa Bay, and Carolina. Carolina is clearly on the up and up. Cleveland drafted a new starting QB and RB to go with there top 5 defense. (yes top 5, check the stats) Tampa might be better with Vincent Jackson or they might just suck again. Broncos are going to have to bring it every week.

Final thoughts - Denver is taking steps in the right direction. However peyton only has a 2-3 year window. I think playoffs are possible but switching teams and going to the superbowl might be more than peyton can handle.
