Arches

A thread dedicated to Arches National Park.

I haven't been there in 9 years, this month.

Hopefully, we'll get to see that place someday. The kids would go nuts for those rock formations.

Did you guys hear about the Mexican Drug Cartel (sp) infiltrating our national forests to grow pot? Setting booby traps, trip wires, and armed guards with AK-47s? I'd be nervous about going off the hiking trails now.

It's not as intimidating as it might seem.

They busted one up near here not too long ago. I got to watch them burn the pot.

Did you watch from a distance?

I hope you are right. The thought of them taking over places like Yosemite really tick me off. I guess it's hard for me to believe that they can't catch them and get rid of them. It will make people fearful of going to these beautiful places.

Yellowstone is much cooler if we're going to start threads about National Parks.
