Rookies yet to sign...

Well, with only a couple days left before rookies are supposed to report for camp, the Broncos still have 4 draft picks yet to sign. I believe that Thomas, Tebow, Decker, and Beadles remain without contracts. Hopefully all of these have inked by Wednesday morning. Of the four, which do you feel could be holdouts this week?

I wouldn't know how to surmise on this at all.

I bet they are all done by Thrusday. I don't care if they don't get done til Saturday. THE REAL day that matters is the 31st when everyone reports. I read on DP that these are all close and should be done by thurs afternoon.

I do see Bay Bay's deal being tough though because he was the 1st receiver taken and the projected value may be off from what he actually wants. The good thing is that Bryant signed so this should make it easier

Yeah but the thing that sucks is Jones pulled an Al Davis and didn't wait for this year's scale to be set.

5 yr... 11.8 mil. at least he gave him $ that makes sense... unlike al davis. He would have given him a 12 yr 98million $ deal and ruined everything.

A 22 year old kid coming out of college who never worked a day in his life should be damn happy with $250,000 for his rookie season. You can make your money when you are a veteran, not a rookie who never played a down of NFL football in his life.

If they all got the same amount for their rookie year, we wouldn't be talking about holdouts. Then in their second season, when they make their big money, providing they showed their worth in their rookie year, they can decide to holdout for more money or play. I think the NBA has a rookie cap. Maybe the NFL should go that direction. These young kids asking for millions makes me sick. I think Sammy Winder never made more than $55,000 a year. That was 20 years ago, but still, minimum wage has gone from around $4.25 in 1985 to $7.35 in 2010. Why now are average NFL players, making a minimum of what, $250,00 or so, compared to Winder's 55,000. You start these kids out making that much money, you're setting them up to go bankrupt when they are out of football. They'll forever be used to making a quarter of a million dollars a year. When most people make under $50,000.
