We could take Detroits #20, #33 and a 1st round pick in 2010.............I'll go along with that, but we don't want their #1 overall pick.

Outside of the money, I'd rather we salvage Curry out of this mess and keep him away from the Chefs.

Yeah, though #1 overall we could get Curry.

#1 Curry
#12 Jerry
#33 Brace

Cutler for #1 and #33? Possible?

Don't worry we won't have ANY trouble trading Cutler there are plenty of teams that want him and know the value of having a good QB. Probably the best thing at this point for all involved. We are going back to the days of Bubby and Greise and Plummer. Trouble is this is the hardest position to fill. They touch the ball on EVERY offensive play. Maybe Dilfer is available? Oh yeah we still got the guy that couldn't make it in Tampa or Tennessee, we're good!

Since Brady was a 6th round pick, McDaniels might very well be looking to beef up our pathetic Defense and look for a QB later in the draft. ............I hope so anyway.

As sad as it is to say, we won a lot more games with Plummer at the helm.

Plummer 39-15
Griese 24-26
Cutler 17-20

He can play both inside and out, but he's probably better outside. He's the best player in the draft though. A middle 4 of Doom-Andra-DJ-Curry doesn't look bad.

Or even just throw any QB (Simms) out there and hope to win like the raven's used to.

I maybe wrong but it seems like Plummer had the advantage of a better defense and running game? Everyone just knew every other play was going to be a bootleg...

That's what I would do............Draft Defense with our top picks...........day two, go after Quinn Johnson--FB and maybe Sammy Stroughter---WR. Simms has been around long enough now that I really think he's ready to become the starting Quarterback for the Broncos, if needed.

The past two years were the worst Bronco Defenses I've seen........well, maybe EVER. And the Running game? I think Hillis was our leading rusher with just over 300 yards.

I agree it was atrocious. I like Hillis though. Bring back the ORANGE CRUSH!

HolyDiver, I like how you think. I also like Sammy Stroughter; he is going to be another Eddie Royal for someone.

Looks like I am going to need another avatar...
