Its not even a big deal, He never wanted or even tried to trade cutler.

Tampa called Denver trying to talk MCD into going after his old QB while tryign to get cutler.....they spoke for a few and we DECLINED.

Detroit heard the news and assumed Cutler was all of as udden on the trading block and called also.....MCD DECLINED AGAIN!!!!

What is so bad about this? We never shopped cutler. We never wanted to trade cutler or hed be GONE. Cutlers dad needs to stay our of Cutlers head because he is clearly the one the media is running to with all those emotional remarks. Cutlers over reacting himself. He actually thinks we shopped him when thats not the case. Hell get over it when the facts are out. You fans need to get over it first and foremost..... Dont believe for one second that MCD offered a 12th overall pick for Cassell and the Pats magically didnt take it........Lol whose the source on that bullshyt? They should be fired from there source job or whatever you want to call them.

MCD did nothing wrong. Seriously with the deals detroit and tampa had on the table if Cutler was being shopped hed be shipped....That tells you we didnt go off trying to shop cutler.

Time to move on. Time to take (fail) out of signatures. Time to focus on what a great off season it is so far and the draft.

Lesson learned in this is to not let other teams bribe you into a conversation that should never happen.....Theres nothing rude about saying no thank you and hanging up the phone. Like Adam Shefter reported from day 1......Broncos recieved calls and declined both offers. end of story....

After doing a lot of thinking...I think the above is horse spit.....I think what happened is mcD and X fumbled the ball on this trade and are trying damage control and now Jay is pissed off. All we had going last year was Jay and the O....and Josh has thrown a wrench into that!!!
Also, I want to weigh in on our FA signings...wtf is going on?? We are getting older....signing has beens should be a thing of the past...didn't this guy come from New England??? Big Bill built through the draft and did some minor dealings in the offseason...what a mess in my opinion.

The signings are all quality signings and its not like were signing into cap hell situations. There all players who instantly is an upgrade. Were gonna draft alot of young defenders. T here not all gonna be able to step in and dominate from day 1. There gonna have to ease there way into the NFL. So why not add quality veterans for the right price to all the youth thats on the defense and upcoming draft picks?

By the way i dont believe your theory on what happend for one bit..........If MCD was actually trying or wanting to trade him with the deals that were out there it would have happend!

listen to nfl on sirius right now..cut and dry...he wanted his guy...and it got kiboshed by bill because the teams took to long to get the semantics of the deal done. Brian Billick is commenting on it right now on sirius..come on..smell the coffee..

So your telling me Bill belichek didnt wait an extra couple hours for a deal to go thru that woulda sent him the number 12 overall and a 3rd round pick?? Dude seriously how does that sound? This is all bogus. We recieved calls and declined is the most logical thing....

I dont care what Brian Billick is saying.......

The front office dropped the ball in how they responded to the entire thing. They should have been on TV 10 minutes after it was reported telling us it was bogus, and they never had an intention of trading Jay. They let it fester, and now our Franchise QB is pissed off.

I too think it'll blow over by the time the season starts, but damn it if they didn't screw the pooch this weekend.

Now we have BMarsh who is going to have to miss maybe half the season. It's been a bad 2 days to be a Broncos fan.

CR, the point is that it's being discussed...where their is smoke their is fire so to say...it's not good..and the most important relationship is between a coach and his QB..he's the leader and captain of the ship.

There was smoke and may have been fire. Just not on our teams part is what im saying....... Mcdaniels said right after all this broke that its not true and we never intended on trading cutler, we dont want to trade cutler. The facts were that the smoke and fire was form tampa. Tampa was first to call and try to use Cassell name knowing he just coached cassell and would atleast listen. after we declined that was it.....i dont get why its such a huge deal. Jays dad needs to shut up and Cutler needs to stop whining. Ask cutler how McNabb feels but yet he still goes out and leads his team and still loves his coach.

Well, I don't think I'm as angry as Scar, but it was a bad situation and they didn't do themselves any favors with how they handled it.

Cassel and some picks for Cutler and #12 really brings to question their judgement on talent.

Mort did. And now Peter King isn't disputing it. Apparently Cutler asked for a trade after we didn't retain Bates....or what really happened....the Broncos are now trying make Cutler the bad guy in all of this.

That type of statement is what has bothered me over the last few days. People keep stating that the fans are making too big a deal of it. Yeah, who cares? really?
did we hear that from cutlers lips?
and if it is true, why did not OUR front office PR report that to the media?
and now the media (clayton) says cutler is demanding to be traded again?
has anyone heard or read a direct quote from CUTLER regarding his DESIRE to be traded?
