Marshall Arrested - Charges Dropped (Merged)

Here we go again...

Marshall arrested for disorderly conductComment Email Print Share ESPN.com news services

Denver Broncos wide receiver Brandon Marshall, who's had a string of off-the-field brushes with the law, has had another.

Marshall was arrested Sunday in Atlanta and booked into the Atlanta City Jail on a disorderly conduct charge. Details of the events leading to Marshall's arrest are not known at this time. A supervisor at the jail would only say Marshall was involved in a fight.

Marshall posted a $300 bond and has been released. This is the fourth arrest for Marshall since March 2006. He was suspended last season by the NFL for three games (later reduced to one) for violating the league's personal conduct policy.

I'm not surprised. Who was it that said B-Marsh grew up...? matured? Yeah, I hoped that he would be more responsible but a person's personality is a person's personality. This falls under that dicipline thing I've mentioned all off season.

Right. Marshall was just attacked out of the blue. Unprovoked.

Seriously, were he attacked, what did he do to get attacked?

Haters man haters there everywhere. If marshall was fighting the charge would not be disorderly conduct for a grown ass man.........Think about it......Disorderly conduct that means he was either loud in public or drunk in public or loitering..........Whoopty doo......This is nothing. Moving along...... Hell i mean i leave the club drunk too but i dont be loud all in the streets. His fault but not a big deal......The average person does not even get arrested for this...... I stand around the clubs, I stand around the 7 eleven. I stand around public places everyday.....Do i get disorderly conduct charges? Wow

for disorderly conduct? i doubt it. Maybe 2 max if even that.........But this forces us to draft a WR.........Because even though this is the smallest charge you can possibly get its still a charge. I dont think its worthy of a suspension for Disorderly conduct lol. Its such a petty charge. The type of charge the officer does not show up in court for.......

Don't be surprised if it is a 4 game suspension is what he gets. You gotta remember that he represents a "Professional Organization" whether he wants to or not. He's expected to act and BE professional. The NFL has given him chances already, they even cut his last suspension short. They'll throw everything they can at him. You can't do stuff like this especially after they already threw you a bone.

The NFL minimum for a second violation of person conduct is 8 games. This is reguardless of what the violation is. If it violates the personal conduct, which this does, it is an 8 game suspention.

This is really going to hurt. Royal is good enough to be a #1 reciever, but no one else that we have is good enough to be a #2. Either we have to go after a free agent, trade for a decent reciever, or reach in the third or fourth round for a decent guy. We all know that MCD wants to run the spread that he did with NE... but now he is without a "Randy Moss" of sorts. Right now, I believe our best option is to find someone who will work well enough for the first 8 games... and try to utilize the run game. We now have a good enough back in Buck and a great FB/RB in Hillis. Without the threat of Marshall at reciever, we will have to use the run to set up the pass. Is MCD capabile of this? Thats the big question.

I can think of a few players whose been in run ins with the law a few times and didnt get 8 games.....I doubt disorderly conduct gets him 8 games. All this is gonna do is make the whole "trade marshall" crap come back up from bronco fans on the forums. I guess were juss gonna be trading away everybody.

Yes, it is time to let Marshall go. I've had enough of his off-field "altercations" with his girlfriend and "accidents" involving slipping on a McDonald's bag into the TV set. It's time to say Good-Bye B-Marsh.

Forgot about all this Cutler trade stuff and let's go after Crabtree.

Damn sure dont want crabtree. I can feel why people are gonna over react. But seriously the only wide outs i truly like in this draft is heyward-bay, williams and Nicks.

Maclins and Crabtrees would take trading up into a top 10 to get them.

I've had it with the guy. No more altercations with his girlfriend, no more slipping on McDonald's bags and falling into the TV, and no more spraying champagne at nightclubs at other people (which led to the killing of his teammate Darrent Williams).

It is time to get rid of this guy. Yea, it will be a blow to the offense at first but we can draft some guys and they'll fill the void. We gotta move on from this headcase and do it now.

Who would of thought after yesterday that it would be Marshall we would be getting rid of and NOT Cutler.

Are you kidding me?!! Man, when it starts piling on, it get deep quick. What is this guy's problem. Is it too hard to just walk away? I wouldn't be surprised if he gets the axe. At the least, he is out for a extended amount of time. Who do we get to replace him? Coles is out there. Don't get me wrong, he isn't the quality of B. Marsh, but he is a proven WR in the league and he has the ability to catch the long ball. I think Coles may want a boat load of cash though. I don't know! Does anyone else feel like a Raider fan lately? What a crazy weekend for the Broncos!!!
