To the people who said the Broncos Vets would freak out about this. I am sure they saw Cutler's insanity over the past month. He abandoned his teammates...said he didn't...said he wanted out of town...then said he didn't...the guy is crazy.

There was a story today, I believe Denver Post?..Not sure but it said that several Broncos vets said they had been trying to call Cutler but he wasn't answering or returning calls...so much for "I play for my team mates" I guess.

I enjoyed the story from Chicago where Urlacher welcomed Jay but also said he felt they gave up a lot, and that Kyle was well liked in the locker room.

Colt McCoy, Tim Tebow and Sam Bradford. I'll take any of them over either of the two this year.

We'd have to trade to much to move up. We can't force a pick. We are not going to win the super bowl this year. Face it. We need a to build the D. That's the fastest way to win. Build the D this year and draft a QB next year. we do that... In 2010 we are MUCH BETTER.

Further more.. look at the rookie qb's that were successful this year when inserted into line ups right away.. Flacco and Ryan. Common thread.. they both had solid D's backing them up.. takes the pressure off. We throw a rookie in there this year with our D where they have to score 40. please. We'd shred his confidence.

No sir.. the way to go is DRAFT D this year. Get that 3-4 in place and figured out by next year. Draft a qb next year to build around for the future.

We force a pick this year.. it'll be a mess. and it's be a crime to draft a QB in the first with our needs on D. A CRIME.

100% agree...............Defense Defense Defense.............Hell, with 12 and 18, we could get Maualuga and Jackson, then take Brace in the 2nd round.............And I'm dead serious about Nate Davis............I saw the guy play..........very impressive.......Larry English and Louis Delmas went virtually unkown to me. Davis torched them both..........I don't buy the crap about being from the MAC.....He's a talented QB that struggle when his coach left them high and dry...........and the Buffalo game was the fluke of flukes.........back to back fumbles for TD's by Buffalo. One of 98 yards and the other of 80............Ball st. drove the field at will. I won't bury the guy for those fumbles........it was just one of those things. ............But now we can easily get him in the 3rd because of it.

Yup, totally with you Youmind. All D this year, look at one of those QBs next year if Orton or Simms don't pan out.

We should be able to get a solid 3-4 OLB and a 3-4 DE or NT out of this.

In all honesty, out of the QB prospects this year and next, Tim Tebow intrigues me the most.
Not only is he a big physical player.
His attitude is the exact opposite of Jay Cutler!
He has great character!

My point exactly.. and he will be avalible to us in the mid to late first. Which is where our two picks will certainly fall.

TEBOW IS A LEADER AND A WINNER! He makes the big throws. period. If its 3rd down and he needs to make a pass.. he hits it. 90% of the time. He's got the elusiveness that big ben has. we all saw how important that was to Ben in the playoffs no?

He leads like a man and wins like a man. He is everything that I'd want out of a Broncos QB.

DRAFT D DRAFT D... this year. DRAFT MORE D next year.. with our second #1. Our first #1 next year is a QB.

Orton will play safe QB all year. he will not lose games for us. Period. He played well with GARBAGE at reciever in Chicago last year. he played hurt and all his team mates rave about his locker room leadership. He will also be a great back up in McD's system next year when its being run by Bradford, Tebow or McCoy.

I couldn't have said it better!
Of course it's VERY important what a player can do on the field. But now more than ever, after watching Jay, it's important what they do off the field and in the locker room!
Tim Tebow is one of the classiest players I have witnessed.
He is very religious, often visiting prisons and troubled kids to spread the word of God.
He prides himself on leading a good life. He is a player who we the fans would not have to worry about in the off season, or throughout the week.
Someone, who after a tough loss, can walk up to the podium like a man and admit his mistakes.
Something, we the fans, have not heard in a while.

Cutler is immature, but you can't say he handled himself poorly off the field and in the locker room. No arrests, drunken tirades, or conduct detremental to the team really.

I was referring to his immaturity.

He's a much more athletic Joe Kapp..............Tough hard-nosed guy. Tebow just simply knows how to win.............and hates losing even once............I would love to have him in Denver. I'm not all that impressed with the QB's this draft anyway.............Let's just get this Defense to where it needs to be first.

You know, the irony of this trade is that Josh McDaniels is looking more like Bill Belichick. This was a classic Belichick move... get as much as you can for a player that isn't happy. Remember Deion Branch?

And it wouldn't surprise me to see McDaniels start thinking about calling up certain teams who want to move up in the draft should Mark Sanchez start to fall or certain teams are worried about who may take Josh Freeman. Stocking up on more draft picks would be great for the Broncos to do.

And who knows... Denver may end up drafting the next Richard Seymour. Who wouldn't want that?

Lol seriously whats wrong with orton? Ortons a system guy and were still drafting sanches lmao, the broncos truck gold with all these picks man. I love the trade. Get the whiner outta here and pick up two first, a QB who led his team to the playoffs as a rookie and a 3rd this year. Gotta love it!!

Hey Casino, maybe you should bring back that Three Men sig and update it to replace Kyle Orton with Matt Cassell.

Kyle Orton - 21-12 as a starter

The guy lived through how many QB controversies in Chicago?

Let's see how he does when he has a real offensive line and real WRs.

I am EXCITED to get back to talking about BRONCO football!

Cutler is 13-1 when Denver gave up less than 21 points. With a good defense Cutler could have had a much better overall record. This will go down as one of the worst decisions in pro sports history. QB is the most important position of any in team sports and the Broncos just traded away an All-Star simply because McDaniels is an arrogant prick. I live in Chicago and have watched Orton both here and at Purdue... he is not good. He can't make more than one read and makes awful decisions. Not a smart guy. It is going to be apinful watching Simms and/or Orton struggle next year. It will have us wishing for Plummer. Sure, Cutler is immature but he's 25. He will grow into being an elite QB... he can make throws that not many can... really reflect on some of the things he did in Denver... with his arm and legs. We're going to miss him big time.

and he did it with an poor OL and no targets. Now he sees these new toys, marshall, royal, gaffney, stokes, graham, hillis. Lol how can ya not like orton in this system with these weapons and most importantly he wont be getting smacked around anymore with this all pro line.

on the other hand....cutler has one of the worst Olines in the NFL.....If he throws for 4500 behind that OL ill give him much much much respect. But i doibt it happens.

You build a franchise through the draft right? Well goddamn we have picks galore lol. I love it man.

Sanchez or Freeman will be the project waiting in the wings......Or we can just draft a project later in the draft and go stricly defense. Either way we got better as a TEAM.
