Broncos Free Agent Signings - Update

With the deal for Arrington falling through, and Derrick Ward signing with the Bucs, the Broncos went after LaMont Jordan. Jordan was a target of the Broncos a couple years ago when he left the Jets, though he ultimately landed in Oakland at the time. *** Update*** The Broncos have sorted out the contract deal with JJ Arrington, he has been signed to a 4 year, $10 million deal. So throw another RB into the mix.

Jordan reportedly signed a 2 year, 2.5 million dollar deal. The deal included a $500,000 signing bonus. He is expected to compete with Ryan Torain, Correll Buckhalter, JJ Arrington and Peyton Hillis for the starting RB position, though, one would expect it to be a RBBC situation in Denver again.

This brings the number of officially signed free agents to 13. That number may jump to 14 should the Texans choose not to match the offer sheet (3 years, 4.5 mil) outstanding to David Anderson. *** Update *** The Texans have matched the offer sheet to Anderson ***
